I want to invite people to be a part of something great this Christmas season. I know that it's very easy to get caught up in the distractions and the consumerism of the holidays.

So now i'm reminding myself of what's important by putting on a feast for my favorite bunch of street kids in East Africa. These kids are a real kick in the pants. And it brings me joy whenever they get a chance to have a real meal.

I'm collecting donations of any size to send over to pay for the meal. I'm offering one of my cds for anyone who contributes.

I made the album exclusively for my trips over to Uganda.

And it's only really been available over seas or locally here in Ny. You can think of it as two christmas gifts for the price of one, or simply giving for the love of it. Regardless, everyone is welcome to join in.

I do believe this season is a season for giving. And this is a spectacular way to do just that.

I'm grateful to know the kids and to be able to bring them some joy. They are very near and dear to my heart.

Plan of attack:

On Dec 17, I will send the funds directly to those serving the dinner in Uganda.

It will be wonderful.

We'll have pictures taken and sent back so we can all share in the joy of the occasion. Maybe we can do meals like this other than at just Christmas!
